It is a good tradition, when twice for a year, all the team of Silk Road Destination goes to the inspection in order to improve the files of services of Uzbekistan.
Today I would like to share with you the results of accomplished work, the impressions and the records of our team.
Before to start the travel, in our mind were thoughts of kilometers of driving on boundless desert. For 6 days of our trip we drove more than 2000 and walked for about 70 kilometers!
Upon our arrival in Khiva, we went to work immediately. We were surprised to see uncommon sunny weather in Khiva.
It should be noted that in Khiva tourism sphere is rapidly developing. For last year there were constructed 4 new hotels and 1 big restaurant, suggesting that Khiva is ready to welcome guests.

This hotel is ideal for seekers of national identity and for lovers of refinement and luxury. The hotel is situated on the territory of Feruz Khan’s summer residence in 1, 5 km from Ichan Kala.
Hotel “Euro-Asia Khiva” 3* is located just inside of Ichan Kala, provides comfortable accommodation in western style. There are 20 wide rooms, from which 14 are twins, 3 triple rooms and 3 deluxe rooms. The design of the all rooms and bathrooms differs from each other. 10 rooms located in ground floor, the others on the second floor and the restaurant is in basement floor. The hotel has satellite TV, free wi-fi zone, international telephone service and free intercom. All rooms have air-conditioning, smart television and mini bar.
Hotel “Shams Khiva” 3* offers 30 beautifully decorated rooms: 4 Suites and 12 semi-suites are designed for your comfort and convenience.
